Lawyer
Tegan Murley grew up in Wattle Bank, attending primary school in Nyora and secondary school in Phillip Island. She was a keen horse rider, as well as being involved in various musical and theatrical groups. Tegan completed her undergraduate degree in Melbourne. She studied her law degree at Bond University on the Gold Coast in Queensland, where she was admitted to practice in October 2015.
Tegan worked in a firm on the Gold Coast from January 2015 – May 2016, where she developed skills across various areas of law, including Wills & Estates, Powers of Attorney, Bankruptcy and Debt Recovery.
In May 2016, Tegan returned home to South Gippsland, where she embarked upon her journey as a lawyer at Oakleys Law. Tegan aims to continue developing her skills in commercial law, with a view to benefiting the wider South Gippsland community.
In her spare time, Tegan enjoys Pilates and playing double-bass alongside her father in local string ensembles and Whitehorse Orchestra.
